RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Recruitment and onboarding: coordinate all the administrative aspects of the recruitment and onboarding process.
  • Employee records management & benefits administration: maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and administer employee benefits programs, including uniforms, pension, life, and health insurance.
  • Training and Development: coordinate and support employee training programs.
  • HR Projects and Initiatives: support the People & Culture leadership team with the planning and execution of various projects and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Employee Communication: assist in the development and dissemination of internal communications.
  • Performance Management: assist in the performance evaluation process and maintain performance-related records.
  • Confidentiality: handle sensitive and confidential information with utmost discretion.
  • HR Reporting: prepare regular HR reports and metrics to track key HR indicators.

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES

  • Associate degree in HR, Business Administration, or a similar discipline; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least three (2) years of related experience would be an asset
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication acumen
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Outstanding level of proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office suite
  • High level of integrity and accountability

JOB TITLE:

Chief Accountant

As we take flight, we are seeking a stellar customer focused ECHElon to join our team. Our suitable Chief Accountant is a member of the Finance team with expertise in preparing financial statements in accordance with IFRS, budgeting, analytical support with responsibility for general ledger processing to include all finance functions. The incumbent provides support to the Chief Financial Officer in ensuring the appropriate accounting treatment for transactions and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

 

The Chief Accountant will:

  •  Assist with implementation and maintenance of internal controls relating to all financial statement areas.
  • Prepare financial analyses and reports
  • Review and post AR/AP invoices 
  • Manage the company’s payment process, including payroll processing
  • Assist with preparing and monitoring budgets
  • Maintain and reconciling balance sheet and general ledger accounts
  • Manage the monthly GL process and period close 
  • Contribute to the development of new or amended accounting systems, programs, and procedures
  • Prepare statutory returns
  • Assist the Finance Manager with annual audit preparations
  • Ensures adherence to all financial, security regulations and procedures

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & WORK EXPERIENCE

  • Chartered Accountant or pursuing final qualification exams, or equivalent qualifications.
  •  Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
  •  3+ years of accounting experience
  •  Working knowledge of tax laws and IFRS
  •  Strong financial analysis skills
  •  Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  •  Strong organizational and stress management skills 
  •  Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly with Excel
  •  Ability to train and develop staff. 
  •  Ability to work with little to no supervision.

Cash Management Associate

Our suitable Cash Management Associates will accurately execute the assigned duties within the Operations Unit, ensuring a high level of accuracy as well as adherence to operational procedures and policies established by ECHE Limited to always ensure customer service excellence.

Cash Management Associates will:

  • Process all transactions according to service level agreements, policies, and procedures
  • Ensure all end of day activities are accurately completed
  • Follow all financial, security regulations and procedures for any assigned area

  • At least 2 years of related experience in similar capacity 
  • Proven ability to work well under pressure 
  • Must be able to work on shifts
